Hello, I’m Daniel, the founder of Daucers.com — an online marketplace built for collectors, enthusiasts, and passionate vendors. From antiques and jewellery to clothing, home goods, and handmade treasures, Daucers is a place where unique items find new homes, and where creators can turn their passion into a thriving business.

Why I Built Daucers

The idea for Daucers came from something I noticed in both the UK and the USA: a decline in local industry that once made our countries strong. Factories and workshops moved abroad in search of cheaper labour, leaving behind talented artisans and passionate creators with fewer opportunities to sell their work. I wanted to build a platform that brings those talents back to the forefront, giving vendors a space to share the items they love — and giving collectors a place to discover them.

A Personal Passion for Antiques

I’ve loved antiques ever since I was a child. Over the years, this passion has grown into a small antique shop on my site — a place where collectors can explore unique pieces and appreciate the craftsmanship of days gone by. Every purchase supports the site, helping me upgrade Daucers and make it the best marketplace it can be. Every little bit counts, and together, we’re building something special.

Looking to the Future

My vision goes beyond the online marketplace. I hope to open a Daucers brick-and-mortar shop, bringing together the most popular online vendors alongside talented local sellers. The shop will showcase antiques, collectibles, and handmade items — including some of my own.

Even further, I dream of opening a mini school next to the shop, teaching members of the public how to create handmade goods they can sell online or in-store. This is about more than just commerce — it’s about bringing new ideas, creativity, and opportunity into the local community.
