Daucers: An Introduction

Hello My name is Daniel and I built Daucers.com, an online Collectable marketplace that connects collectors with vendors in the UK and USA. With vendors selling anything that is collectable from clothing to jewellery to antiques, home goods to handmade items.

I built Daucers with both the UK and our cousins across the pond in mind. Why? There are a lot of reasons but the main reason is the decline in industry that I noticed in both countries. Industry that made both our countries great but moved abroad because of cheaper labour costs. I wanted to build a site that allows vendors a place to sell collectables that are a part of their passion and turn it into a business.

My own passion is antiques, ever since a small child. I have a little antique shop on my own site that you may want to check out! you can check it out: Here. All profits go into upgrading the site and making it the best it can be so every little helps!

My future plan is to open a Daucers shop and bring in the most popular vendors from the website and from the local areas and sell products, including my own antiques.

I want to change the way the industry on the high street is operated, as it is dying. My dream would be to also open a mini school next to the shop, teaching members of the public how to make handmade goods that they can sell either to the site or the shop itself. This will bring in new ideas to the area that is in.

I can’t mention all of my future plans as there are too many to mention but this is a stepping stone. Hopefully you like the idea too and we can make it a reality.
