Inspiring Stories: How Anesthasia Jones Turned Childhood Crafts into a Creative Business
At Daucers, we love celebrating the journeys of talented creators. Today, we’re excited to introduce Anesthasia Jones, the imaginative mind behind Atelier, where handmade jewelry, digital art, and fiber projects like crochet pieces come to life.
Hello Anesthasia, what products or services does your business offer?
Handmade jewelry, digital art, and fiber projects such as crochet pieces.
What were the main sources of inspiration that influenced the creation or development of your product/idea?
As a kid, my mom taught me how to make knotwork bracelets with different colored thread and from there I was in love with crafts and creating beautiful things. I knew that I wanted to learn as many techniques as possible to bring the ideas swimming around in my head into reality.
Can you share a specific success story or milestone that your business has achieved?
My very first sale I think is an important milestone to me. It was a bracelet with a silver phoenix charm and red wooden disc beads and went to a lovely young woman. She reached out to me some time later, things had been difficult for her and she told me that my bracelet inspired her when things started to get too much and it just touched my heart. It felt good to know that one of my creations meant something like that to another person and it really cemented me wanting to make and sell my projects even more.
What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start their own business?
Honestly, just start. Hardest part is taking the first steps, just commit and start where you feel you can. The rest will follow.
